Hi! I'd like to share my favourite treat with you.
You may need a human to do the cooking
(They shouldn't eat much).
500 grams of liver (or more - good).
1 cup of flour (self raising is best - you get more).
1/2 cup of rolled oats.
1 table spoon of Golden syrup
Mince the liver (eat any tit bits you can get - good).
Lightly (hand) mix dry ingredient (in a large bowl).
Lightly (hand) beat wet ingredient.
Add wet ingredient to the dry ingredient
hand (lightly) mix through.
Place on a shallow greased baking tray.
Bake at 160 degrees (Centigrade).
(Until the mixture pulls away from the tray)
Allow cooling to touch temperature
Cut into bite sized squares (I like 2cm squares).
Store in fridge (we keep them in the vegetable crisper)
Try to eat some (about 20) while still warm (I always do).
I think the mixture makes enough for 3 hours
(my owners think there is enough for two weeks)
